Stephen Barrett is a missionary, local church elder, farmer, and former national wrestling champion. He's also the author of the book The Unlikely Missionary. You can purchase the book on Amazon -- just in time for Christmas!
I (Jeremy) wish we could have sat down in person for this interview since Stephen and I have been friends for some time, and it's just not the same looking at each other through a computer screen. But I'm so thankful for the technology that allows us to have conversations in this way.

104: Approaches to Understanding OT Prophets (Be Careful What You Tweet)
Monday Oct 30, 2023
Monday Oct 30, 2023
Recently, Jeremy instigated a kerfuffle on X (Twitter), which now leads to a fuller conversation about the differences in approaching the OT prophets. Jeremy makes the case that Covenant Theology requires there to be an oppositional relationship between the Divine Author and the human author, whereas Dispensationalism allows for the Author/author to fully share the intention of the text.
